I couldn't think of what to title this, meh. So Rita's been gone since yesterday. I thought I'd freak out, but so far I'm actually doing ok. I am trying to use this as a chance to branch out and talk to other people more rather than get comfortable with what I know. Though she's still a terrific friend. So far Antonio's been a big help with this as I call him nightly and bug him. He's great for putting up with me. ^_^
Also, I'd like to say merci to all my online friends who are dealing well with the constant "HEY!!!" and "You wanna RP?". I'm such a pain in the ass. But they are wonderful, really and truly. And some of them do RP with me.
Today - I hung out with Megan who I haven't seen in too long. We're gonna go clubbing Saturday, my first time - I hope I have fun!! I'm nervous but excited. This should go wonderfully or terribly. Let's hope wonderfully.
And Friday I'm going to go help with the Special Olympics. Bonnie called and said Tina's doing track. She wanted to know if I wanted to come along and help or cheer or something. We haven't talked in ages. She's too good to me. Too nice. But she's wonderful! I used to babysit Tina, still do occasionally. But originally, I helped her with school things, telling time, vocab, etc. It was a great experience.
I hope to have fun with this. And I'm still waiting to hear back from Yentl. Plus there's Beth to hang out with too! I like seeing people, but I can get comfortable at home. I'm one of those people that sometimes has to be dragged out of the house but once I'm out I have a great time! I'm just a cozy stay at home type of gal until you get me out and about. Then I adore it and wonder why it has to end. Lol. SO hopefully I'll have fun this week!
This was just a random update having to do with the fact that my one of my two best friends is currently in another country for three weeks and I wasn't sure how well I'd cope with that considering we talked everyday. I'm doing alright. It turns out I need to open my eyes a little more because I've got some other great friends out there who I may have been overlooking this whole time..

Sounds like you're having fun. I plan to go clubbing someday. Or to a hookah lounge, maybe. That seems a little more my speed. Whenever I think of clubs I think of that scene from Buffy the Vampire Slayer when Faith and Buffy are dancing in a club together.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're having fun. I wish I could go back to the old homestead and visit some of my friends from hs. We used to have crazy times. Also wishing you guys were on campus. Do you know how DEPRESSING it is to walk into Krannert EVERY DAY and never see anyone you know?
Well there is Siliwan's (I have no idea if that's spelled right) in Rome. It's a hookah bar. Haha. Yea, I picture something like that too. I'm about to find out!!
